With May the 4th be with you recently passing us there is no surprise that EA had a little surprise for its Star Wars fans. The Battlefront series has been a pretty controversial game since it released, with in game purchases and paywalls being something EA implemented pretty often. You can understand why players are a little hesitant with any update that comes to an EA game or the Origin game client.
Origin has a monthly subscription service which allows you to access and play over 200 games for a fee a month. Star Wars fans will be happy to know that 12 Star Wars game have been added to the Vault. The new Star Wars additions include:
⦁ Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy
⦁ Battlefront 2 (Classic, 2005)
⦁ Republic Commando
⦁ Rogue Squadron 3D
⦁ Dark Forces
⦁ Shadows of the Empire
⦁ X-Wing Alliance
⦁ Jedi Knight: Mysteries of the Sith
⦁ Galactic Battlegrounds Saga
⦁ Episode 1 Racer
This brings it to a total of 30 Star Wars games that are added to the monthly subscription service. The service doesn’t seem like a bad deal either for anyone wanting to give some of the games ago. The basic Origin subscription costs £20 a year you can alternatively pay £4 a month. There is a premium version which allows you to access titles such as Anthem, at £90 a year. So, if you want to join the rebellion consider getting your hands on the Origin subscription service to have access to over 30 games.
