During the UKLC, Forge of Champions and EU Masters a League of Legends Jungler, Daniel Hockley otherwise referred to as Dan put out a performance worthy of a champion. Due to his outstanding efforts in the Esports world Fnatics have decided to put him on their main roster where he will be joining pros like Rekkles and Bwipo for the LEC.
Although Dan is not replacing the main Jungler for the Fnatics, Broxah. He will be joining the main team as a second Jungler. Making it easier for the staff and team to allow him to participate during the summer LEC split.
With LoL coach Joey Steltenpool commenting on the addition “We are looking to recreate the success we had last season and we identified that having a six-man roster was one of the key reasons behind that success. Considering that Dan had a stellar Spring Split with [UK academy team] Fnatic Rising, it made a lot of sense for us to move him in-house with our team to further develop him and to use his game sense to make the team grow.”
With the addition of Dan to the main team, rumours spread that Broxah was being replaced by him fully. However, these rumours were soon debunked when Broxah posted a statement on the addition of Dan. Broxah admitted to there being internal disagreements and that he was against the decision to bring Dan as a secondary Jungler, however, said that he will strive to work harder than ever.
“Considering that Dan had a stellar Spring Split with Fnatic Rising, it made a lot of sense for us to move him in-house with our team to further develop him and to use his game sense to make the team grow.”
Although everyone isn’t necessarily on the same page with the changes coming to the team, hopefully, time is given for the team to reflect to be able to synergise and coordinate as a team should.
