Bugs in games don’t always have simple solutions which can be fixed overnight. A lot of the time the bugs which we encounter in games are usually found after the latest update to a game goes live. Why is this? It is down to the fact that everything within a game will impact other aspects of it. This leads us to problems that may occur from weapons or ultimate’s that get changes to them etc.
A buggy game can often feel like a drag, it can in some cases drive the core player-base away. Knowing that a mechanic isn’t right often leads to the player feeling cheated. Putting yourself in that situation where maybe a bug occurs and it isn’t just a one-time thing, you keep dying from it every time you play the game. Feeling like this may drive a lot of fans of the franchise away.
Apex Legends was a success with its initial release back in February. We saw huge Fortnite streamers put away their gliders and entering the Apex arena. At first players and fans felt like this was the turning point for Fortnite, this would be the reason the franchise loses traction. However, that was not the case. Bugs, cheaters, and not so frequent updates led to a large portion of Apex Legends player base to digress back to their origins.
The game is still facing issues today coming across bugs more frequently than not. The latest bug that players have encountered in the Battle Royale game is Supply Ships causing instant death. A clip was posted on Reddit where you could see leaving through the hatch caused instant death. Respawn is yet to make a comment about the latest bug found in their game, but hopefully, they will join the rebellion in looking for a solution to the problem.
