Who would know that someone’s first in real life stream, would turn out to be their last? The controversy that arose from Dr Disrespects first in real life stream, was not something that fans of the popular streamer expected.

We covered a few weeks ago Dr Disrespect receiving a ban on Twitch for filming in a public place without permission. During his LifeStream, Dr Disrespect head into a public restroom and his cameraman followed him in. Instead of realising the mistakes, his cameraman continued to film. Shortly, after the incident Dr Disrespect got his E3 pass revoked and his Twitch channel banned.

After a minor two week ban, Dr Disrespect’s channel is back online. Dr Disrespect, who goes by the name of Guy Beahm on Twitter, posted a statement.

He begins in a tweet writing, ‘I’d like to talk about Dr Disrespect’s Twitch ban from E3.’

Then goes onto explain that he tries to be authentic and edgy and this time he took it too far, by linking to a longer apology.

“When we were walking around filming at E3, we clearly weren’t thinking about the laws/repercussions of filming in the bathroom because honestly, it wasn’t in our mind frame at the time. We were sort of ‘all in’ with the Doc Livestream experience and capturing the E3 event through the character. We were so into the E3 IRL journey that we became a little blind in what’s ok and what’s not ok.”

Not only did Guy break Twitch Terms of Service (TOS), but also broke the law in the state E3 took place.

Do you feel Dr Disrespect received a fair suspension, or do you think more action should have been taken?
