With Season 2 Apex releasing and the new legend making its way onto the battleground. There is a lot of new things to take in when getting back into the Battle Royale game. From challenges to a competitive mode, the world of Apex Legends really has taken a different approach.
The release of Season 2 of Apex Legends released on the 2nd July, with the release came a trailer just a week before which filled the player base with a new lease of life, peaking their excitement.
Wattson is a new Legend which has joined the Legend squad, and her kit seems pretty cool! Daily and weekly challenges also made their way to the game. Completing these challenges will contribute XP towards your Battle Pass.
An example of the challenges is listed below:
“Complete five Daily Challenges: Rewards one Battle Pass level
Complete 10 Daily Challenges: Rewards one Battle Pass level Earn 9,000 Stars and/or match XP: Rewards one Battle Pass level
This quest may be repeated an unlimited number of times each week.
Each completion increases the Stars and/or match XP required for the next by 9,000, up to a maximum of 54,000. You need 9,000 for the first level, 18,000 for the second level, etc. This challenge resets to 9,000 each week.”
With the new Season of Apex and a new character to play, it seems that Apex may be able to reclaim its spot in the running to be a game changer. But for now, what are your thoughts on the latest season of Apex Legends?
