With the Anniversary event for Overwatch being released, we wanted to give you a rundown of the skins up for grabs during the event. There is no doubt in our mind that the Anniversary produces the best skins. All new Legendary skins will cost 3000 coins, so let’s hope you have saved! We will be sharing some of our favourite skins from the event:
With the latest patch, we saw the Overwatch Workshop modes get implemented into the game. And the game-breaking D.Va skin, the game-breaking D.Va skin being a Korean schoolgirl skin. Whether or not you consider this game breaking is up to you.
For us, the skin that we love the most has to be the Mei HoneyDew skin, we feel that this skin broke the internet. The skin feels like it was representing body positivity, with the waitress style outfit. Previous Mei skins in the past have caused some controversy however, the skin we see in the latest update is seeming to be everyone’s cup of bubble tea (excuse my dreadful pun).
Pharah received a Carbon Fibre skin, thus adding to a collection of heroes receiving Carbon Fibre skins in the past an example of this being D.Va. This Pharah skins is a pretty nice Epic skin if you haven’t managed to save enough credits for a Legendary.
You will have until mid-June to get your hands on any skin in Overwatch, even including exclusive event skins.
