One of the most popular fighting games known, Street Fighter V is becoming free-to-play (for a small period of time). The game was released back in 2016, available on Microsoft Windows and PlayStation 4. One of the biggest features of the game that it is cross-platform, when a game rises in popularity there is usually a lot of demand for it to be cross-platform for example: Overwatch and Apex Legends players are currently demanding for the game to be cross-platform.
It is a side scrolling fighting platform game, developed by Capcom and published by Dimps. The game features 35 characters, 16 of those were launched with the game. You can earn the characters through ‘fight money’ (in game currency) or purchase them yourselves.
The free to play launch is currently from 23rd April lasting until the 5th May. You will be able to access 20 playable characters in this 2-week free-to-play period. During this period, you will be able to pay the Arcade edition of the game, upon purchasing the game you will unlock; Arcade Mode, Extra Battle Mode and Team Battle Mode.
Most free trials, usually last a weekend or a week if you are looking so rebelling against that first-person shooter you are playing. And pick up your controller for this 2-week free trial will give you a whole different gaming experience. With having all 16 base characters available, you also get access to the 4 DLC characters to try and test them out.
Before the 5th May, pick up your controller or head to the Steam page to try the free-to-play version of Street Fighter V.
